Olga Nikolaevna Gildebrandt was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1897.

No specialized art education. Active in Leningrad (in Urals) 1941-1948).

Begin exhibiting mid-1920's. Member of the Group of Thirteen, 1929-31.

Important shows include Artists Of The Russian Federation Over Fifteen Years, Moscow, 1933. Best known as a graphic artist. Trained and then worked as an actress late 1910s-early 1920s.
